  1. Best bait clips on the market allow you to ground cast without them in-clipping before you cast used these for the past 2 year and can honestly say these handy devices have never let me down and 99.9% of the time they unclip when the hit the water.

  2. 'The One That Got Away' For the past 6 months i have been using the gemini splash downs,at first i was a little but skeptical of them releasing every time, but i can honestly say 99% of the time they release with hooks below 7/0. I have used these on a range if rigs from heavy duty cod rigs with 100lb rig body to loop rigs and pulley droppers. These clips are perfect for me and my style of casting as i cast of the ground. EH

  3. best clip on the market for ofg casts with hooks up to 3/0 as the down side of these is they wont hold the bigger hooks unless you cut away some plastic so hopefully they bring out a slightly modified version.

  4. I love this clip for casting off the ground, as its the only one I've found that doesn't come unclipped on the beach before casting! I use these on my pulley rigs and clip down rigs all the.time. Great that they come separately or integrated into the sinker.

  5. It's a shame these max out on a 4/0 - and for thicker wired 2/0 to 4/0 it involves a bit of shaving of the plastic! The main reason I use them is for heavy baits - as with most clips a bait heavier than the lead will disconnect in flight. With heavy baits I'm usually using bigger hooks, 8/0 for Halibut for instance. The product is excellent, it just needs a range of sizes to be more effective.

  6. A fantastic addition to your rig if you use cheaper leads, un-clips every time without fail Again though the same problem as with the Splashdown weights, anything over a 4/0 hook depending on hook brand will not fit in the clip
