  2. I use this rod for the majority of my fishing which is mainly rough ground along with a saltist 20 or 30 which is a awesome combination. Very responsive and the bite indication is a superb for such a rod. Casting is easy and big distances are easily achieveable even with an over heard thump. It took me a few sessions to suss this rod out and now I have I love it.

  3. For my fishing in deep sea lochs on the West coast of Scotland and the rough ground on the East this has got to be the best fishing rod I have laid my hands on. Can see bites register on the tip from the smallest of fish yet have the power to help land double figure fish with ease. Very user friendly rod for casting, nice and light (the same weight as the much shorter Century Tip Tornado Sport) and not the poker rod some believe it to be, I mostly use big fixed spool reels with mine although it's just as nice with a standard size Penn 525, Daiwa Saltist 20 & 30. Has helped improve my overall casting distance and keeps getting better every time I use it, 10/10 for me.

  4. Excellent rod for the harshest of conditions. Handles a 7oz lead and 8oz of bait with ease, will send a 6oz flying and yet maintains the bite sensitivity to pick up the smallest of bites. Pairs perfectly with either a big fixed spool or multi, and is happy with either braid or mono.
